Born and raised in Honolulu, Dr. Cindy Lee Neighbors is a retired U.S. Army officer, writer, advocate, and physician. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Theatre at the University of Southern California, she commissioned in the United States Army to pursue a career as a military physician. She graduated with honors from the Uniformed Services University and subsequently trained at Tripler Army Medical Center in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
